I’ve always been an extremely detail-oriented individual, thus why I pursued a M.S. in Accounting. However, my creative and ambitious personality had so much more to offer. I have a variety of business courses and professional experience in polar industries, from manufacturing and construction to food and beauty. Using my experience combined with the passion I have for helping people grow and succeed, I created Kayla Marie & Studio.
After pivoting and nicheing around to try and find my best fit, after clients constantly telling me they loved my work and how talented I was. I realized my true passion was just seeing and making other people happy.
As I go deeper into below I've always naturally had a knack for editing and curating. Thus, I found the my true specialty where not only do I utilize my talents to deliver art but, I am able to surround myself with and encourage happiness in individuals every step of the process.
My passion is to turn memories into lasting short-form cinematic pieces of art.
WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
Colleagues have always referred to me as outgoing, motivational and driven. I graduated high school early in just three years and went on to complete my M.S. in just one year, thanks to the 3+1 program at Siena College. I’ve always believed the only thing standing between you and your dreams, goals or success, is you. Everyone wants something or some lifestyle, but what are you doing to achieve it? If you believe it’s unattainable, then it will be. If you believe it is attainable, then it will be. Read that again.
It may not be easy, and you may fail many times before you succeed, but for every time you fail, you are one step closer to success. You will never make it where you’re trying to go, if you don’t start moving. That's where I come in! It is my passion to empower others, to empower small businesses. Capturing and embodying your visual presence through the lens (especially iconic reel curation.. my favorite, shh!), I'm your cheerleader. At Kayla Marie and Studio, I am passionate about encouraging clients to be unapologetically themselves. Authenticity is the key to your brand. Do not be afraid to be you, you're in the right place. Now let's relax, laugh a little, strategize and make the magic happen.
My favorite way to visually empower is creating scroll-stopping social media content! The most important part of my process is to have fun, and again, be yourself. I believe a session has the power to build up someone's confidence not only in their business but themselves and the fact I can give that to someone is priceless. When a client says "Wow" my purpose is served. In fact, when I was younger my baby sister and I used to create and direct full-on music videos to our favorite songs in the backyard and spend hours editing them on IMovie! We'd even have our grandparents come watch with fake tickets we made and printed for the premieres! Thinking back to that it's amazing to see that passion has only grown and I've nurtured it to empower other women in business. I just might be more excited than you are to get started.
